Joyful Kids is our kids ministry at Joy Church built to help children know Jesus, love His Word, and experience the joy of belonging to God’s family. On Sundays our goal is to create a warm environment where your children are cared for where Jesus is made clear in ways they can understand. Joyful Hands has four priorities to accomplish this goal.
Your kids will learn
Our goal in Sunday School is simple: to help your child become a disciple of Jesus—learning the foundations of the faith in a way that’s clear, joyful, and age-appropriate. We use the New City Catechism as a key tool for instruction, helping kids learn big truths through simple questions and answers they can actually remember. Each week we pair those truths with engaging Bible teaching, discussion, and activities so kids don’t just hear about Jesus—they grow to know Him and treasure Him.
Your Kids Will Love It
Joy is experiential, and we believe that kids learn best when they’re enjoying themselves. We want them to love Joyful Kids so much that they’re the ones waking the house up on Sunday morning.
Your kids are safe
When it comes to child safety, we don’t play games. Joyful Kids uses multiple layers of care and oversight: background-checked volunteers, a kids-area hallway monitored during service, and a children’s wing designed for visibility and security—including security cameras and viewing windows so parents can see into the rooms. Our baby and toddler nurseries and Sunday School room are located together in a dedicated kids block that also includes a children-only bathroom. We want every family to feel confident and at peace—so parents can worship fully, and kids can learn and thrive in a safe environment.

We believe that parents are a child's primary teacher and discipler. The best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you! Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for your child as they grow in their faith.
